-She has gained acceptance from her father for who she actually is. He is seeing her as more than “only a daughter.”
11. Where's an example of where she uses some of the five senses?
-Sound, taste, touch/feel (to draw attention to the family gathering and the commotion and feel of it)
12. What is her purpose in writing this piece? What's the main point/message of the piece?
-To address her father and to assert herself.
-To society to assert herself as an individual, not just a part of a culture or a family.
-To other females.
